Well, after 3 days of non-stop marking of assignments (can I has long weekend now?) I have to say that I am most impressed by the work produced by Year 12 Modern History. Seriously, you folks have done an outstanding job, with 6 A's, 5 B's, and the rest C's (except one unfortunate plagarise instafail). It certainly makes all the hard work that everyone put into this worth it, and it really gives me a buzz to see so many succeed. Well done, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next term! |

After weeks of non-stop training and preparation, I had my black belt grading on Saturday. After going through the trials of multiple board breaks, patterns and (painful) free sparring against instructors, I was promoted to 1st Dan black belt by Master Rhee. Today is Sunday and I can barely move. My shins and forearms are busted up, but it's such an awesome feeling to get that promotion. Now I can start looking at opening my own branch of Rhee Taekwondo at North Lakes. I'm suprised I can stand up that straight in the photo. |

Okie dokie, that's it. As of today (4th June) the online forum assessment is closed and ready to be graded. You will be marked on the quality of your arguments, your contribution to encouraging discussion, and your responses to other students statements.
Now you are free to concentrate on the presentation. Remember this is due Week 11. You all know exactly what to do, so there's no need for me to explain it again. You are also aware of what I expect to see as far as the quality of your presentations go. Alrighty, get to it! |

Hey y'aaal! Hope you are all doing well and that you are not too overwhelmed by everything. If you feel like you have way too much assessment to do, try breaking it up into small bits. Set yourself little goals and do your assignments in stages. For example; you might try to get your research books finished over the weekend. Monday night you can have your introduction done, Tuesday get two paragraphs done. By the end of next week, most of your assignment will be finished before you know it. Trying to take on the whole thing at once can be way too much. Stay on top of it, and never leave it to the last minute. |
